Responsibilities
- Deliver a \'New Business’ Gross Profit target, broken down quarterly and monthly.
- Achieve pre-set KPI`s geared towards generating opportunities.
- Devise a strategy for targeting your agreed market, sector or region.
- Work with internal marketing, telemarketing, and product specialist teams to compile compelling propositions that address prospect need within defined target areas.
- High contact of target market via different means to create frequent new appointments.
- Master Files are stored electronically and are available to all team members.
- Printed Copies of the Master Files are for reference only.
- Build a strong pipeline of at least 3:1 ratio opportunity against target.
- Pro-actively promote all products and services of Intercity Technology Ltd.
- Follow up on referrals and any new leads provided.
- To liaise with internal staff to ensure new business is provisioned correctly.
- Engage sales product specialists and pre-sales within Intercity to support opportunities.
- Be flexible and willing to develop product and wider market knowledge.
- Update the CRM system with all activity and complete other ad hoc reports on request
- Provide regular, accurate sales forecasts.
- Complete and present opportunity plans internally at director level.
- Identify key decision makers and buying process within prospects, ensuring that where required director level engagement is identified.
- Complete strong compelling written proposals that clearly define how Intercity add value
- Present solutions and summary of proposals to clients.
Education and Qualifications
- A good standard of education.
- Educated to a degree level desirable. ITIL Foundation desirable
Experience and Knowledge
- At least five years’ experience of winning new business within the Managed Service industry.
- Possess demonstrable experience of managing a complete sales cycle from opportunity creation to completing a sale within the B2B environment.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving new business targets.
- Be confident in conversing with and presenting to senior management and directors.
