We are looking for an Events Manager to join our team, to take full ownership of our events strategy and delivery. The successful candidate needs to build demand and excitement around every event, from concept to execution. As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for: Own the Events Strategy: Shape and execute our internal and external events calendar, ensuring every event delivers on its objective. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Content & Comms Manager, and campaign specialists to deliver events that support lead-gen, brand awareness, and internal comms. Lead Event Delivery: Manage end-to-end event logistics, from planning to execution, covering everything from customer/prospect events to charity golf days and tech roadshows. Vendor/Partner Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, partners, and venues, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and on budget Innovate and Improve: Bring fresh ideas to the table to enhance event experiences and drive better engagement, lead generation, and brand presence. Types of Events Youll Manage: Internal examples: Kick-off events, all-hands meetings, SLT briefings, and internal communications. External examples: Brand launches, product launches, lead-gen events, expos, tech roadshow, partner events, webinars, hospitality. Sponsorship examples: Birmingham Tech Week, National Chamber of Commerce, and charity events. Key Skills and Experience: 5+ years of events management experience, ideally in a B2B setting. A background in the technology sector would be a bonus. Experience in delivering large-scale events, from corporate roadshows to hospitality and networking events.
