Drive sales and revenue in designated travel retail locations, including airports, cruise ships, border stores, and other duty-free outlets.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, identify new business opportunities, and expand brand distribution in travel retail channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel retail partners, including airport retail managers, duty-free operators, and distributors.
Conduct regular visits to key accounts to ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards.
Manage trade marketing budgets, including TD&C, promotions, and activations, in liaison with the Channel Marketing team.
Promote products to travel retail customers through engaging brand experiences, tastings, promotions, and events.
Ensure all point-of-sale materials and branding adhere to company standards.
Recruit and supervise brand ambassadors and event promoters, including sales target allocation, merchandising, stock management, and rota arrangements.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop tailored campaigns for the travel retail channel.
Manage personal professional development to meet work and career goals.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Commercially savvy, numerate, and literate.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a competitive, target-driven environment across different cultures and markets.
- Passion for the wine & spirits industry is a plus.
- Degree in a business-related field preferred; HND/HNC or equivalent considered.
- Previous experience in travel retail, preferably with premium brands.
- Full clean driving license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
