Position Overview

The logistics coordinator will be based in London and will report directly to the Managing Director of InterAmerican Coffee Ltd.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipments based on various Incoterms, ensuring correct documentation, contract execution and timely communication with all relevant parties.
  • Supervise a team of four, helping to prioritize workloads, allocate tasks and ensure responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Handle and review shipping documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal procedures and external requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, shippers, warehouses and customers to ensure smooth shipment planning, timely arrivals and clear communication throughout the logistics process.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for shipment delays, delivery issues, documentation queries, customer concerns and supplier/shipper problems.
  • Oversee office administration linked to logistics operations, including processing invoices, maintaining records and supporting accurate contract and shipment data.
  • Prepare, monitor and review regulation & certifications, including EUDR, Fairtrade, RFA and Organic, ensuring requirements are met and records are maintained.
  • Help to design, improve and maintain process workflows, ensuring the team follows consistent ways of working and supports the integration and use of new IT tools.
  • Support the development of the team through guidance, training and regular check‑ins, helping to build knowledge, confidence and accountability across inbound and outbound logistics.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a similar field.
  • 3‑5 years proven experience in sea and land transport and/or customer service.
  • Fast learner, detail‑oriented, comfortable with systems, data, Excel, and ERP.
  • Passion for working with people and solving problems with a fast and friendly service mentality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
