Purpose of the role
The Talent Acquisition Consultant will support key business areas by recruiting both internally and externally. You will work closely with hiring teams to understand demand and deliver talent through adverts, job boards, head‑hunting, and other channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process across multiple business areas.
- Develop strategies to attract talent via job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs and headhunting.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical or hard‑to‑fill roles.
- Screen, short‑list applications, conduct initial qualification interviews, and recommend candidates to hiring teams.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate the assessment process.
- Ensure fair, unbiased and compliant recruitment practices.
- Create a smooth, engaging and timely recruitment process for candidates.
- Act as the main point of contact for applicants during the hiring journey.
- Advise managers on interview best practices and market trends.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies when external help is needed.
- Manage employer branding to present the company as an attractive place to work.
- Support onboarding and compliance activities where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience recruiting in an agency, consultancy or internally.
- Experience with the end‑to‑end recruitment process.
- Demonstrable knowledge of hiring across multiple business areas (Customer Service, Technology, Finance).
- Strong ability to devise search strategies for complex requirements.
- Good knowledge of candidate markets and market insight generation.
- Able to recruit in both high‑volume areas and niche areas.
- Able to hit the ground running and work at speed.
