ABOUT THE ROLE: In this 10‑month placement as a Content Writer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the Content team at interactive investor. This role will support the team in crafting informational and engaging copy that drives prospect‑to‑client conversion on our website. The primary objective is to create compelling and effective content that engages our target audience, answers their queries and encourages them to take desired actions, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and success. As our Content Intern, you will contribute to the success of interactive investor's digital marketing efforts. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth by creating persuasive and engaging copy that converts prospects into clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop accurate, engaging and informational content for various digital marketing channels, including website pages, email campaigns and online advertisements.
- Conduct research to understand the target audience, their needs, pain points and preferences, ensuring all copy resonates with them.
- Work with the SEO team to optimise copy for search engines, improving organic visibility and traffic.
- Ensure all copy aligns with interactive investor's brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional image.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure all copy complies with legal and regulatory requirements, especially in the financial sector.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers and product managers to ensure copy aligns with the overall marketing strategy and product goals.
- Support the team in content planning and strategy sessions, contributing ideas and developing copy that supports broader marketing initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in digital marketing and copywriting to enhance skills and creativity.

- To be eligible to work in the UK
- To be over 18 years old as of 1st September 2026
- To be a 2nd year student in a full‑time undergraduate degree with an industry placement year, in a subject relevant to this role
- To have achieved a minimum of 104 UCAS points at A‑level (grades BCC) or an equivalent (e.g., BTEC DMM) qualification
- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grades A* to C (new grades 9 to 4)
- Familiar with copywriting and content creation
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and CRO (desirable)
