About

Due to rapid growth and expansion of our business activities in various markets, we have a full‑time 1 year fixed‑term contract for an experienced, technology‑oriented individual to serve as a Czech Financial Translator (English to Czech and vice versa).

Responsibilities

  • Translate IBKR’s account application and client account interface
  • Occasional legal/regulatory translations
  • Glossary and TM maintenance
  • Perform quality assurance on existing translations (proofreading and editing)

Qualifications

  • MA or BA degree in Translation or related discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Daily experience with CAT tools (configuration and advanced use a plus)
  • Experience with AI technology for translation is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience with a financial institution or translating finance‑related content
  • Knowledge of basic trading terms; familiarity with technical and marketing translation
  • Proven time‑management and organisational skills
  • Personality: self‑confident, open, flexible, and able to work independently in a team‑oriented environment
