About
Due to rapid growth and expansion of our business activities in various markets, we have a full‑time 1 year fixed‑term contract for an experienced, technology‑oriented individual to serve as a Czech Financial Translator (English to Czech and vice versa).
Responsibilities
- Translate IBKR’s account application and client account interface
- Occasional legal/regulatory translations
- Glossary and TM maintenance
- Perform quality assurance on existing translations (proofreading and editing)
Qualifications
- MA or BA degree in Translation or related discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Daily experience with CAT tools (configuration and advanced use a plus)
- Experience with AI technology for translation is a strong advantage
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience with a financial institution or translating finance‑related content
- Knowledge of basic trading terms; familiarity with technical and marketing translation
- Proven time‑management and organisational skills
- Personality: self‑confident, open, flexible, and able to work independently in a team‑oriented environment
