We are currently recruiting for an experienced or aspiring HGV Mechanic to join a well-established transport company in Leighton Buzzard. This is a great opportunity offering long-term stability, overtime, and the chance to secure a permanent role.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
- Every other Saturday - paid at time and a third
- Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
Pay: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Enhanced overtime rates
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs (primarily Volvo fleet)
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out inspections
- Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Candidate Requirements:
- Any level of HGV/mechanical experience considered
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and within a team
