We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 (C) Driver to deliver and collect plant machinery to and from customer sites. This is a hands-on role, ideal for drivers confident with plant equipment and looking for a long-term position.
The Role
- Delivering and collecting plant machinery using a Class 2 vehicle (beavertail where required).
- Loading and unloading machinery safely and securely.
- Operating plant equipment when needed.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic inspections.
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely.
- Completing paperwork accurately.
- Providing a professional service to customers.
- Working in line with health & safety and transport regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (C) licence.
- Previous experience delivering plant machinery is essential.
- Confident operating plant equipment (e.g. excavators, dumpers).
- NPORS or CPCS tickets preferred but not essential.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR).
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.
