We're looking for a Site Services Technician to join our expanding Site Services team in Watford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of construction and geotechnical projects, carrying out site investigations, sampling and testing while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

The Role

As a Site Services Technician, you'll work on sites across the UK, carrying out testing in accordance with British and European Standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate results while representing our business professionally on client sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out on-site sampling and in-situ testing.
  • Preparing and presenting accurate test data.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues on a variety of site projects.
  • Cross-checking test calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Completing daily vehicle inspections and maintaining company vehicles.
  • Supporting laboratory and sample preparation teams when required.
  • Following Health & Safety procedures and company quality standards at all times.
  • Undertaking additional duties to support the wider team.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and enjoys working in a practical environment.

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience in geotechnical or construction materials testing.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • Experience working to British or European testing standards.
