We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team in Rochford. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a counterbalance forklift to move goods around our warehouse and production site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
- Ensuring the safe transportation of materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organizing and maintaining stock, ensuring items are stored safely and securely.
- Performing regular checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure its safety and efficiency.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Following all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensuring that stock levels are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
- Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
- Good knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency.
