Interaction Recruitment are working in partnership with a South Yorkshire based company who are recruiting for a HGV Mechanic / Technician on a full-time basis. This role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate and starts immediately/ January 2026.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and a (C+E) or (C) License.
Key information:- Salary: Up to £58k DOE + Benefits
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts: 7:00am to 17:00pm - 1 hour lunch break
- Undertake all aspects of HGV & LGV Inspection, service and repair to the highest standard.
- Undertake all aspects of trailer Inspection, service and repair to the highest standard.
- Vehicle breakdown call-outs - Van provided
- General servicing
- Supporting reactive maintenance which could run out of normal working hours
- MOT preparation
- Truck bodywork construction
- Fault finding and diagnosis - Equipment provided
- Working to DVSA standards
