Are you a skilled Class 2 Driver looking for work in the Barnsley, South Yorkshire area? Interaction Recruitment are currently working with a large distribution company based in Tankersley who are looking to expand their team of drivers in preparation for their peak in December and beyond.
Role: Class 2 (C) Delivery Driver
Pay: £13.22 - £13.34 per hour PAYE
Please note that holidays are accrued alongside your booking and are not included in the hourly rate shown above.
- Day Shifts - 7:30 to 16:30 - Min 8 hours paid
- Immediate Start
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time
- Multidrop to local homes and businesses
- MHE provided to assist with deliveries
- Routes pre-loaded
- Need to be willing to learn how the clients' handsets work to get signatures for goods.
- Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to various locations
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all relevant health and safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid HGV license
- Full CPC and Digi Tacho Card
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant driving experience
