Interaction Recruitment are partnering with a national rail industry specialist who delivers expert design, engineering, project management, construction and maintenance solutions. An exciting time to join the business, the client is looking for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, to be based in Westbury, Wiltshire.
The purpose of this role:
- To maintain the client's owned and leased assets to ensure maximum availability and reliability is achieved.
- To deliver the required work in a safe and effective manner, conforming to contract specifications.
- To provide the first level response to any locomotive and wagon failures, ensuring a high level of cleanliness, reliability and performance is achieved.
- To deliver all aspects of their Rail locomotives and Wagons to a successful completion of work under the guidance of the Supervisor and Team Leader.
- Reporting direct to the Team Leader of regular updates of Work in Progress to ensure that Senior management are aware of any operational issues and performance.
