Interaction Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a long building materials distribution company in Chesterfield, Derbyshire who are looking to expand their team of Class 2 (Tramping) Drivers. Trailers are curtains or boxes. The client is looking to appoint someone on a full-time basis, starting immediately. The role can either be offered as a TEMP TO PERM (12 WEEKS) or straight permanent for the right candidates.
Key Info & Benefits:
- Location: S43, Chesterfield
- Pay: £14.29 per hour PAYE
- Nights Out: 3-4 per week
- Night Out Allowance: £25.00
- Daily Meal Allowance: £10.00
- Start Date: Immediately
- Benefits: Free Onsite Parking, 22 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
The role includes:
- Manual work - loading and unloading loose loads
- Destacking
- Multidrop to commercial and domestic addresses
- Utilising MHE to assist with delivery
- Opening / Securing Curtains
- Products can be quite large
Candidate Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 6 months driving a Class 2 vehicle
- Be a strong team player with a can-do attitude
- Have a MAXIMUM of 6 penalty points on your licence
- Hold a valid C Category Licence, Tacho and Full CPC
