We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse clients—matching high-quality candidates to temporary, contract, and permanent roles. You will build strong client partnerships, grow your desk through business development, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management & Business Development
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing industrial sector clients.
- Conduct client visits to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and site environments.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively grow your client portfolio.
- Negotiate commercial terms, rates, and service agreements in line with company policy.
- Candidate Attraction & Recruitment
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct approaches.
- Screen applicants for suitability based on skills, experience, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct interviews, skills assessments, and right-to-work checks.
- Manage the full recruitment process including shortlisting, arranging interviews, and job offers.
- Workforce Management
- Coordinate temporary worker scheduling, shift allocation, and last-minute cover.
- Manage candidate onboarding, documentation, and compliance.
- Conduct site inductions and check-ins with workers and hiring managers.
- Resolve issues related to absence, performance, or workplace concerns.
- Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate data within the CRM and applicant tracking systems.
- Prepare job descriptions, adverts, and candidate profiles.
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation, agency worker regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Support weekly payroll processes and timesheet management.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in recruitment—ideally within industrial, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident with client engagement and sales-focused conversations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resilience.
- Full UK driving licence.
