We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse clients—matching high-quality candidates to temporary, contract, and permanent roles. You will build strong client partnerships, grow your desk through business development, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Client Management & Business Development

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing industrial sector clients.
  • Conduct client visits to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and site environments.
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively grow your client portfolio.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, rates, and service agreements in line with company policy.

Candidate Attraction & Recruitment

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct approaches.
  • Screen applicants for suitability based on skills, experience, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, skills assessments, and right-to-work checks.
  • Manage the full recruitment process including shortlisting, arranging interviews, and job offers.

Workforce Management

  • Coordinate temporary worker scheduling, shift allocation, and last-minute cover.
  • Manage candidate onboarding, documentation, and compliance.
  • Conduct site inductions and check-ins with workers and hiring managers.
  • Resolve issues related to absence, performance, or workplace concerns.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate data within the CRM and applicant tracking systems.
  • Prepare job descriptions, adverts, and candidate profiles.
  • Ensure adherence to employment legislation, agency worker regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Support weekly payroll processes and timesheet management.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment—ideally within industrial, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident with client engagement and sales-focused conversations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resilience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Relationship-builder with a customer-first mindset.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
  • Team-oriented but able to work independently.
