We are currently looking for full-time general operatives near Goole, DN14, working days and flexible for overtime when required within a leading manufacturing site that produces non-food products at Howden.
The Role:
- Production lines
- Working hours are Monday - Thursday Days 8am-16:30 and Friday 6am-12 noon. Some flexibility will be required due to the needs of the business.
Salary:
This is an hourly paid role at £12.21/hour for day shifts with added overtime rates and shift allowance for anyone working shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the production/process teams, working on a line or warehouse.
- Includes lidding, labelling, packing and boxing products.
- Checking the quality complies with customer specifications.
- Cleaning and tidying your work areas.
- Moving raw and finished stock to the desired locations.
- Operating machinery.
- Clearing chutes to keep the product flowing and preventing blockages.
- Ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
- Filling hoppers and goods in and out for qualified FLT drivers.
- Any other duties requested by the line leader or management team for the needs of the business.
Environment:
Due to the product, the site can be dirty and dusty. The role is fast-paced.
