We are working with a welcoming primary school in Reading seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team from January. This long-term role is ideal for a teacher who is confident delivering the KS2 curriculum and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Role Overview:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and behaviour
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Experience teaching within KS2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and organisation skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
