We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Haverhill seeking an enthusiastic Drama or Music Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver creative, engaging lessons and inspire students across KS3 and KS4.

Role Overview:

  • Teach Drama or Music across KS3–KS4 following the school's curriculum and schemes of work
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that promote creativity, confidence, and artistic development
  • Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and support
  • Contribute to school performances, productions, or enrichment activities where applicable
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama or Music at secondary level
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organisation skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to supporting student achievement
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
