Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Blockman/Filleter to join our client in Sevenoaks. The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of working with fresh fish.
You will be responsible for breaking down, filleting, and preparing products to specification while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filleting, portioning, and trimming fish accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring product quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards
- Operating within all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory control and stock rotation
- Working closely with the processing and dispatch team
- The clientele includes high end restaurants and hotels
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a blockman or filleter is required (preferably 2+ years)
- Strong knife and portioning skills
- Good knowledge of food safety standards and handling procedures
