Production Operative
Location:Yeovil, BA22 7JJ
Hours:Mon – Thur 07:30 – 16:30, Fri 07:30 – 12:30
Overtime: Saturdays available
We are currently recruiting for Production / Manufacturing Operatives to join a busy cosmetics manufacturing environment.
You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating efficiency and commitment to completing tasks and achieving business performance targets. You will use hand tools and air tools to manufacture a variety of products across different production areas, maintaining the required level of efficiency whilst ensuring the expected quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Adherence to H&S procedures and regulations.
- Operating and maintaining factory and equipment
- Assembling products using hand tools and equipment within production area.
- Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements.
- Packaging and labelling products for delivery internally and externally.
- Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Previous knowledge, experience of factory production lines e.g basic assembly and quality control or factory operative job role preferable.
- Knowledge of machinery, hand tools, equipment and materials used in production a plus.
