We are currently recruiting for 2 Yard/Warehouse Labourers to join a busy structural steel yard. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to develop their skills within the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hanging metal components ready for the shot blasting process.
- Handling a variety of structural steel products, including railings, steel sections, wheels, and other metal items.
- Assisting with the preparation of materials for production.
- Carrying out manual handling and lifting duties, including heavier items where required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Supporting the wider production team as needed.
Requirements:
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Previous warehouse, yard, manufacturing, or labouring experience is beneficial but not essential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch break plus two paid short breaks.
