About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established manufacturing team in the Southwest. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with machinery and takes pride in keeping a busy workshop running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery
- Diagnose faults, replace parts and ensure equipment runs efficiently
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Support installations, refurbishments and upgrades of machinery and control panels
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with production teams to improve reliability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance (industrial, workshop or manufacturing)
- Confident working from diagrams, manuals and technical instructions
- Strong fault-finding skills and preventative maintenance knowledge
- Positive, proactive attitude with a strong team focus
