Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant to join a busy and professional hospitality team in Witney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and is happy to get involved in all areas of hospitality.

You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of hospitality across multiple rooms and two buildings, working closely with the Hospitality Supervisor and client team to ensure all requirements are met.

The Role

  • Delivering hospitality across multiple rooms and two buildings
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Liaising with clients' PAs to ensure all hospitality requirements are met
  • Preparing and presenting buffets to a high standard
  • Serving coffee and hot food
  • Operating a cashless till
  • Cleaning and maintaining hospitality areas
  • Pot washing and general kitchen support
  • Assisting with deliveries
  • Clearing and resetting rooms after hospitality/events
  • Taking responsibility for your designated area
  • Working closely with the Hospitality Supervisor to meet and maintain expected standards
  • Ensuring all hospitality areas are clean, presentable and fully stocked
  • Supporting the wider team wherever required

About You

  • Has previous experience in hospitality, catering, customer service or a similar environment
  • Has a friendly, professional and positive attitude
  • Speaks and understands a good level of English
  • Is confident dealing directly with clients and their representatives
  • Is physically fit and able to move heavy hospitality trolleys
  • Takes pride in their appearance and presentation
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
  • Is a strong team player
  • Is flexible and willing to come in early when required to meet hospitality needs
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for their area
  • Is happy to get involved with a variety of tasks and support the wider team

Weekend Holiday Cover

The successful candidate will also be required to provide pre-booked weekend holiday cover when necessary. This will be communicated in advance to ensure you have plenty of notice.
