A growing construction company based in Livingston is seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in the construction industry to play a key role in developing new business opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Generate, manage and follow up sales leads.
- Attend client meetings, networking events and industry functions.
- Promote the company's services to public and private sector clients.
- Work closely with estimating and operations teams to support tender opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential projects and clients.
- Achieve agreed business development and sales targets.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or in a similar business development role.
- Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to generate and convert sales opportunities.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Professional and confident approach when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
About You
You will be a motivated and commercially focused individual with a proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term client relationships.
Experience within construction, civil engineering, building contracting or related sectors would be a significant advantage.
