The Role

We are seeking an experienced Garage Door Technician/Fitter to join the growing team. You will be responsible for installing garage doors to a high standard at customer properties across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will also receive full training in garage flooring installation, which will form a significant part of the role. This is a customer-facing position, so excellent workmanship, professionalism and customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and fit garage doors safely and professionally.
  • Complete installations efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work directly with customers at residential properties.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout each installation.
  • Carry out garage flooring installations following full training.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle to a high standard.
  • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
  • Represent the company professionally when visiting customer properties.
  • Travel throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in garage door fitting/installation.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Strong practical and technical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
