Principal Purpose
Working on behalf of a valued client, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee supply chain operations and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating transportation, maintaining accurate inventory records, liaising with suppliers and carriers, and supporting continuous improvement across logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule deliveries and monitor transportation timelines to ensure on-time performance
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, freight companies, and warehouse teams
- Track orders and proactively resolve shipping or delivery issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logistics documentation
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and relevant customs paperwork
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations
- Book in deliveries via phone and email
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers arriving on site
- Verify delivery documentation
- Direct drivers to the appropriate loading/unloading bays
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure smooth operational flow

Experience & Skills Required
