I am looking for a Logistics / Warehouse Administrator to support the Transport Manager in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries aligned to customer requirements and production timelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Collect, check and complete despatch paperwork and spreadsheets in readiness for customer deliveries.
- Ensure final QC checks have been completed.
- Liaise with customers for delivery bookings and confirm transport requirements.
- Prepare delivery notes and pass to Site and Stock Controller to ensure goods are loaded ready for despatch.
- Support Transport Manager in arranging delivery schedules.
- Scan delivery notes for Invoicing.
- Keep warehouse ops informed of changes or updated requirements.
- Ensure all 3rd party drivers behave accordingly to our safety rules.
- Take responsibility for keys whilst onsite and loading.
- Provide all information shared with Site controller regarding re-work of stock, provide labels for onward shipment.
- Ensure all production sheets are filled out correctly and accurately.
- Ensure quality control is maintained throughout the shift.
- Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Participate and ensure a smooth handover between shifts.
- Ensure the Warehouse/Yard area is tidy and kept in a professional manner following the highest BRCGS standards.
- Follow and comply with all company, Health & Safety, HR and factory policies and procedures.
- Attend any training provided to you whether individually or collectively.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Clear and good communicator.
- Ability to write, speak and understand English.
- Proactive.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft based systems.
- Highly organised and calm during busy times.
- Competent in arranging accurate paperwork for deliveries and the despatch of goods.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
