I am looking for a Logistics / Warehouse Administrator to support the Transport Manager in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries aligned to customer requirements and production timelines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collect, check and complete despatch paperwork and spreadsheets in readiness for customer deliveries.
  • Ensure final QC checks have been completed.
  • Liaise with customers for delivery bookings and confirm transport requirements.
  • Prepare delivery notes and pass to Site and Stock Controller to ensure goods are loaded ready for despatch.
  • Support Transport Manager in arranging delivery schedules.
  • Scan delivery notes for Invoicing.
  • Keep warehouse ops informed of changes or updated requirements.
  • Ensure all 3rd party drivers behave accordingly to our safety rules.
  • Take responsibility for keys whilst onsite and loading.
  • Provide all information shared with Site controller regarding re-work of stock, provide labels for onward shipment.
  • Ensure all production sheets are filled out correctly and accurately.
  • Ensure quality control is maintained throughout the shift.
  • Report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Participate and ensure a smooth handover between shifts.
  • Ensure the Warehouse/Yard area is tidy and kept in a professional manner following the highest BRCGS standards.
  • Follow and comply with all company, Health & Safety, HR and factory policies and procedures.
  • Attend any training provided to you whether individually or collectively.
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Clear and good communicator.
  • Ability to write, speak and understand English.
  • Proactive.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft based systems.
  • Highly organised and calm during busy times.
  • Competent in arranging accurate paperwork for deliveries and the despatch of goods.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
