MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator
Wellingborough
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the fabrication automotive sector, is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator to work on a variety of bespoke and high-quality metalwork projects in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
Fabricate bespoke components and assemblies from engineering drawings
Use workshop tools and machinery (e.g. grinders, saws, press brakes, etc.)
Carry out quality checks and ensure all work meets client and industry standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Collaborate with the wider fabrication and engineering team to meet project deadlines
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
Strong fabrication skills and confident with various materials and thicknesses
Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
Good xiskglj attention to detail and pride in producing clean, accurate welds
Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
Relevant qualifications or coding (advantageous but not essential)
