Are you an experienced sales professional within building materials or construction products, looking to take ownership of a high‑value region? We’re recruiting a Business Development Manager to join a well‑established builders merchant with a strong reputation and a loyal customer base across Yorkshire.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and growing key accounts, including some of the company’s top‑performing customers
- Developing new business opportunities across SME builders and national house builders
- Upselling a wide portfolio of building materials and construction products
- Building long-lasting relationships through regular face‑to‑face client visits
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor activity
- Ensuring accurate CRM updates and providing reports to senior management
- Working collaboratively with multiple branches to support customer needs
What we’re looking for:
- Experience within a builders merchant OR the construction products / building materials sector
