Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced candidate from a builders merchant background to join our busy client as a Van Driver / Yard Operative. The successful candidate will join on a permanent basis and will have counterbalance forklift experience & van driving experience.
The working hours:
7am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday
7am to 4pm Friday
1 Saturday on 1 off 7am to 10am
Salary: £30k to £32k per annum
This role involves:
driving 3.5T vehicle doing multi-drop deliveries
keep vehicle clean & presentable
checking vehicle
using counterbalance forklift
loading vehicle & customer vehicles in yard as and when required
operating counterbalance forklift
picking orders
keeping yard area safe & presentable
To be considered for this role you must have / be:
previous van driving experience
counterbalance forklift experience
previously worked in a builders merchant
physicallyfit
fluent English speaking, reading & writing
able to work Mondayto Friday& 1 Saturdayon 1 off
a team player and able to work on own initiative
looking for a long-term permanent role
