We are seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to oversee daily service delivery and support transport operations. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily service delivery and allocate work to vehicles/routes
- Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and drivers
- Conduct driver debriefs and provide operational support
- Resolve on-route issues and support frontline teams
- Promote and enforce safe working practices
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations (WTD, Operator Licence)
Requirements
Essential:
- Knowledge of transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD)
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Ability to manage a busy and fast-paced workload
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems
Desirable:
- Experience in waste, transport, or logistics sectors
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO)
