We are partnering with a prestigious client at the forefront of Formula 1 and high-performance automotive engineering to recruit an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-precision TIG welding on thin-gauge materials including aluminium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
- Fabricate complex components and assemblies using technical drawings, CAD models, and verbal instructions.
- Work to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring all components meet F1 and motorsport quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to solve fabrication challenges and improve processes.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to maintain consistent, high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workshop environment.
Requirements:
- Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience, ideally within F1, motorsport, or high-end automotive sectors.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with specialist materials commonly used in motorsport and aerospace.
- Skilled in sheet metal work, tube manipulation, jig work, and bespoke fabrication.
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently clean, structurally sound welds.
- Self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
