About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a temp-to-perm basis for a busy warehouse in Aylesford. This is a hands-on, physical role and would suit someone who is comfortable with manual warehouse work. Duties will include moving stock, handling drums, bagging and weighing ingredients, shrink wrapping pallets, and general warehouse duties.

Please note: the site is approximately a 30-minute walk from the nearest station, so applicants must be able to reliably get to site for a 6:00am start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using a pump truck to move drums, pallets and stock around the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading drums and other goods
  • Bagging and weighing ingredients accurately
  • Shrink wrapping pallets ready for storage or dispatch
  • General warehouse duties including stock movement, housekeeping and keeping the warehouse organised
  • Supporting the team in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred
  • Experience using a pump truck is essential
  • You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling throughout the day
  • Able to lift and move 10kg drums and carry out repetitive physical tasks
  • Reliable, hard-working and able to work well as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
