A well-established organisation based in Kettering is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join its friendly and supportive HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a varied role and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the HR Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the business across a wide range of HR activities. This position requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to manage confidential information, and confidence in handling multiple priorities.

The Role

  • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, including preparing job adverts, liaising with recruitment agencies and candidates, shortlisting applications, arranging interviews and assessments, and issuing employment documentation.
  • Preparing and maintaining HR documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Managing HR administration for new starters, leavers, employee changes and benefits.
  • Coordinating onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
  • Managing absence administration in line with company policy using the Bradford Factor.
  • Supporting the coordination of internal and external training and development activities.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records using the HR and payroll system (Cascade).
  • Managing the time and attendance system (Tensor).
  • Assisting the HR Director with HR projects and wider people initiatives.
  • Providing support with organisational change processes, including redundancies and TUPE where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A CIPD qualification.
  • Previous experience working within a small HR team.
  • Experience using an integrated HR and payroll system.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Experience of Cascade HR and Payroll and Tensor Time & Attendance systems would be advantageous.
