Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a leading facilities management business supporting a major UK supermarket contract. The Role
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a network of supermarket sites within your allocated area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration system faults
- Working on commercial CO₂ refrigeration pack systems
- Completing service visits and breakdown repairs efficiently
- Conducting minor refrigeration installations and modifications
- Ensuring all work is completed to industry and compliance standards
- Maintaining accurate service reports and documentation
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Commercial refrigeration service and maintenance experience
Desirable
- Supermarket or retail refrigeration experience
- CO₂ refrigeration experience
- Hydrocarbon refrigerant experience
- IPAF 3a & 3b certification
- Electrical fault-finding skills
- 18th Edition qualification
Additional training can be provided where required.
