Due to further expansion plans, our market leading client is seeking an enthusiastic & dynamic Health and Safety Manager to join their highly successful business and support the board of Directors.

As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking on a leading role, becoming responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety onsite
  • Driving and innovating Health and Safety practices at the site
  • Dedicated and motivated in achieving ISO45001 certification in line with current company achievements
  • Improving and developing current policies and procedures and ensuring measures are implemented to achieve standards
  • Organising and holding Health and Safety meetings in order to communicate new strategies
  • Liaising with regulatory organisations and submitting reports in a timely manner
  • Working and maintaining relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Developing and maintaining a culture of continuous Health and Safety improvements and practices

As a Health and Safety Manager, you MUST have:

  • A Minimum NEBOSH certificate or NVQ equivalent
  • A high level of knowledge around Health and Safety legislations and practices
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 Years experience in a Health and Safety role
  • A Chemical and Manufacturing background would be highly desirable
