HGV Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers Pay: £19.50 - £24.00 per hour Location: Maidstone (ME15 9) or Sittingbourne (ME10 3) Shift: Nights – 7:00pm until finish We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team on night trunking shifts based from our Maidstone and Sittingbourne depots. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional drivers looking for ongoing night work with competitive rates of pay. The Role Your duties will include: Completing scheduled night trunk runs to Birmingham and returning to your home depot. Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and in full compliance with road transport legislation. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects. Ensuring loads are secure, including the correct use of curtainside trailers and load strapping. Completing all delivery paperwork accurately and on time. Maintaining a professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach at all times. What We're Looking For To be considered, you'll need: A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. A minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience. Previous experience with curtainside trailers and load strapping. To be 21 years of age or over (due to insurance requirements). No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence. A strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality. The ability to work night shifts and long-distance trunking routes.
