About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a well-established fruit production business based in Sittingbourne. This is a driving-only role with no loading or unloading required. Your main responsibility will be collecting fruit from local farms and transporting it safely back to the production site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for consistent weekday work with early finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to and from local farms.
- Collect fruit and transport it safely to the production facility.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.
- Comply with all road transport regulations and company procedures.
- Accurately complete any required driving paperwork.
What We're Looking For
- Valid 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous 7.5 tonne driving experience is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations.
Please note: This role is not suitable for candidates holding a standard Category B driving licence only.
