Interaction Education are pleased to currently be supporting a lovely school in the Watford area of Hertfordshire in their search for a Pastoral Officer to join their team on a 12 week temp to perm contract.
This role is fantastic, and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a wonderful school in the area, with a great staffing structure, and the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.
The role would suit someone who has experience either in the welfare or pastoral side of the school, and has done a role similar previously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students.
- Provide early intervention for welfare or behaviour issues.
- Support safeguarding procedures and keep accurate records.
- Work with teachers, parents, and external agencies to coordinate support.
- Promote attendance, positive behaviour, and inclusion across the school.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
