We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Sampling Laboratory Technician to join their busy manufacturing facility in Brixworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to work within a fast-paced laboratory environment.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and compounding a variety of synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils, and powders in line with detailed formulations. You will play a key part in supporting both sample production for perfumers and wider manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and compound raw materials according to specified formulations
- Check and verify pots and paperwork to ensure full accuracy and traceability
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring equipment is kept to standard
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) processes for raw materials
- Combine and check completed batches before packing
- Complete all relevant documentation and system entries (BMS) accurately
- Report any discrepancies, errors, or spills promptly
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support operational efficiency
