The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to the growth of the business we require an additional service engineer to join our team. The company supplies, installs and services industrial machinery to customers nationwide.
The ideal candidate should have experience in both mechanical engineering with a bias towards electrical engineering knowledge, have experience in moving machinery and recommissioning machinery, have an understanding of industrial PLC controlled manufacturing machinery and follow preventative maintenance services to existing installations.
Due to our customers being nationwide, the candidate should also be able to periodically work away from home including some weekends dependent on work schedules. Weekend work will be offered as overtime or flexible hours with midweek time off in lieu. Previous experience in both light and heavy machinery, toughening lines would be beneficial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of new machinery in UK customer facilities.
- Undertake preventative maintenance scheduled services to existing machinery.
- Carry out onsite breakdown repairs.
- Keep all service records and maintenance reports up to date.
- Carry out industrial fan services and vibration testing (training provided).
- Electrical and Mechanical experience.
- Welding experience (Desirable).
- HSE awareness.
- The ability to communicate well and be confident with customers.
- Self-disciplined and motivated with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Systematic fault finding skills.
- Experience in the use of Fork lift trucks and overhead cranes (not essential).
- Company commercial vehicle provided with Fuel Card.
- Laptop & Mobile Phone.

- Excellent basic salary plus overtime, Premium overtime rate, bonus scheme.
- Working on a home-site-home basis.
- Accommodation costs and working away expenses allowance.
- Weekend work taken as days in lieu or pay.
- Training given to successful applicant.
