We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected Coventry-based business looking for an experienced Production Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their growing operation. The Role
You will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the production area, ensuring workloads are organised efficiently and priorities are effectively managed.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with and supporting a small production team
- Assessing daily production requirements and prioritising workloads
- Promoting safe and efficient working practices
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
- Assisting with production activities as required
- Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to support colleagues
- A proactive and hands-on approach to work
- Good levels of physical fitness, as manual handling of heavy products will be required
