FLT Reach Driver
Location:Peterlee
Pay:£14.36 per hour (£12.71 basic + £0.50 FLT allowance + £1.15 night shift premium)
Shift:Sunday to Thursday, 5:00pm – 2:00am

We are currently recruiting for an experiencedFLT Reach Driverto join our busy warehouse team in Peterlee.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Reach Driver looking for anight shift positionwith competitive pay.
The Role
As anFLT Reach Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading vehicles and supporting general warehouse operations.
The role involves working in acold warehouse environment, so candidates must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures.
Reach Truck experience is essential. Counterbalance experience and a valid Counterbalance licence are desirable.
Shift Pattern
- Sunday to Thursday
- 5:00pm – 2:00am
- Potential for extension depending on business requirements
Pay
- £12.71 per hour basic rate
- £0.50 per hour FLT allowance
- £1.15 per hour night shift premium
- £14.36 per hour total
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operating a Reach Forklift Truck
- Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and positioning stock safely and accurately
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Reach Truck FLT licence – essential
- Previous Reach Truck experience – essential
- Counterbalance experience/licence – desirable
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
