Our client, a leading provider of custom fabrication solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Welder Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and experienced professional ready to take on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality fabrication projects and play a key role in the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks across various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for precise fabrication
- Ensure welds and fabrications meet safety standards and quality control expectations
- Operate and maintain welding machinery and fabrication tools, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and plasma cutters
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet strength and durability requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes
- Experience with metalworking machinery such as grinders, plasma cutters, and saws
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing top-quality work
- Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
- Certification in welding (preferred but not essential)
