This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting the logistics and operations function, ensuring the smooth coordination of deliveries, transport, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders and ensuring all information is entered accurately.
  • Coordinating deliveries and collections with transport providers.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and drivers to provide updates and resolve queries.
  • Preparing delivery notes, invoices, transport documentation, and reports.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Tracking shipments and monitoring delivery schedules.
  • Supporting stock administration and inventory records where required.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and emails professionally.
  • Providing general administrative support to the logistics and operations team.
  • Assisting with continuous improvements to administrative processes.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Experience using transport management or ERP systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
