The Role
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a network of supermarket sites within your allocated area.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration system faults
- Work on commercial CO₂ refrigeration pack systems
- Complete service visits and breakdown repairs efficiently
- Conduct minor refrigeration installations and modifications
- Ensure all work is completed to industry and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F‑Gas Category 1 Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Commercial refrigeration service and maintenance experience
Desirable
- Supermarket or retail refrigeration experience
- CO₂ refrigeration experience
- Hydrocarbon refrigerant experience
- IPAF 3a & 3b certification
- Electrical fault‑finding skills
- 18th Edition qualification
Additional training can be provided where required.
