Due to an increase in project workload, our client is looking to recruit an experienced CAD Designer on a part-time contract basis to support ongoing mechanical and hydraulic design projects. The Role
As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed engineering drawings and supporting the design of mechanical and hydraulic systems for a range of bespoke engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Fusion 360.
- Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Support the design and development of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Update existing drawings and technical documentation.
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to meet project requirements.
- Ensure designs are accurate, practical, and suitable for manufacture.
- Assist with design improvements and engineering modifications as required.
- Maintain drawing revision control and engineering documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CAD Designer, CAD Engineer, Design Engineer, Mechanical Designer, or similar role.
- Proficient in Fusion 360.
- Strong mechanical engineering understanding.
- Experience working with hydraulic systems would be highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
