Interaction Recruitment is hiring for skilled Bench Joiners. Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of high-end shop fit outs, with prestigious clients including several Premier League Football Clubs. Due to their current workload and future projects, we are looking for experienced bench joiners to manufacture fitted furniture, cabinets, reception counters, storage units, panelling, solid surface work tops and counters, working with all types of laminates and sheet materials.
You must have experience working with MDF, Chipboard, Solid Wood, Veneers and Veneered Materials for their wide range of bespoke products.
For an experienced Bench Joiner, the company is happy to pay £16.00 - £17.50 per hour.
Main Duties:- Set up and operation of a variety of woodworking machines and use of various hand tools
- Study plans and drawings of items to be constructed or repaired
- Plan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed
- Mark outline or dimension of parts on paper or timber, according to plan or drawing specifications
- Set up and operation of woodworking machinery
This is a permanent position offering security in a company that manufactures high specification fit out and construction projects throughout the UK. A CSCS card for this position would be advantageous but is not essential due to it being in a factory and shop fitting.
